Meteor Shower

Will you be watching? I think I'd better go to bed.

Edit the next morning:

I woke up at 2:30, and decided to go out into the backyard to see what I could see. I have some big old mucking boots, so I slipped those on, in case creepy crawly things were out. I stayed out for about seven minutes, but, sad to say, saw no meteors. The stars were very pretty however.

  3. did you see any, Diane??? I got up, but couldn't see any.

I suspect it might be, Julie, like the eclipses are not always viewable from everywhere.

  4. I went outside just after reading this and saw about a dozen. They looked like giant flies just briefly/quickly flying across the sky. Most of them were very small, but I only saw one right before I came in that actually was rather wide and had a stardust around it. It was the coolest sight.

But they did slow down around 2. So I came in and set the clock to go back at the peck time 4AM, didn't see anything and of course I was so tired I started to fall asleep. They said it was suppose to peaked around here (MI) 4-6am.

Julie, I was wondering about you too but your in the day light so I am going to assume yes it was. :(
