Fireflies are still here

There are still a few fireflies each evening, but not the masses in the fields that we had earlier in summer. I always wonder when I'll see the last firefly.

    this year in Vermont we saw hardly any - a big disappointment and I hope not the rule

    i hope it's not the rule, Sharon. I do think they kind of ebb and flow due to weather conditions. We've been hot hot hot.
