I had to stay home in the morning because the Culligan Man was coming. In the afternoon I had my monthly studio time. This time I shot cameras!

Boiling eggs

I've noticed that very few people boil eggs the same way. For hard boil, I put the eggs in cold water, bring to a boil, then put on low for 20 minutes. How do you do it?

Yesterday it dawned on me: I had not been to Lake Michigan all summer. We had been scheduled for a girls' weekend this weekend, which would have taken us there, but it was postponed due to a death in our hostess's family. So I hied myself over to Holland State Park, and got there just in time to see one of the big ships leave the harbor.

Big Weekend!

Haven't been around much this weekend. Saturday was the wedding of a friend's son. Today we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday (which is actually tomorrow but we could make a real occasion out of it today). The whole gang went to dinner: twenty-six of us ranging from ages 10 months to 79 years, 11 months, 29 days. What a trip!
