It's a drop in the ocean compared to the amounts the fatcats deal in. I'm so glad our banks are more regulated, and therefore, more able to withstand this madness. (Or so they keep telling us anyway). And I'm even more glad that I refused to listen to the advice I was given on what to do with my superannuation money. I chose to put it in a long-term deposit at not much interest rather than invest in higher return (in theory) property and shares as I was urged to do. I could see the writing on the wall even then.
