A Flickr Artist

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a special area. Flickr Artist Kim Foos captures it well here.

Sets to Visit on Flickr

The creativity and skill shown on flickr impresses the heck out of me. Three of my flickr friends are doing one object/one day projects.

VFM4's Ele the Elephant Set is here.

Four Seasons - The abandoned barn on Gresham

Four Seasons - The abandoned barn on Gresham

I had two sites that I tracked through the four seasons. This is the second of the two, an old abandoned barn. Time to pick the coming year's seasonal project.

Good Saturday Morning!

Okay, a few years back Susan-on-the-other-side-of-the-world had told us about Australian burgers. They have things like beets and eggs and stuff on them. Julie found a picture.

And speaking of Julie, I did my Thursday 13 on paper, but forgot to post. So here we go:

Thirteen things I like that begin with T:

1. Toddlers
2. Tigers
3. Truth
4. Talent
5. Tongues
6. Turkey
7. Trees
8. Today, tomorrow
9. Thursday
10. Three
11. Thistle
12. Tapioca
13. Telephones!

Susan, you are such a wonderful Grandma! Phoenix is one lucky little boy!

And Kathryn is back home with her treasure, Claire.

I think the hummingbirds have gone.

I think the hummingbirds have gone south

My creation

At The Zoo

I like to flickr. It's fun to see how people react to different pictures. Sometimes I'll work hard to set up a picture exactly right, clean it up in photoshop, and get few comments on it. Sometimes I have my camera in the right place, grab a quick shot, do nothing to it, post it, and it draws lots of comments. One of the latter type of pictures is below.

Ack! My Comments won't let me post today.

That happens sometimes, sorry about that. To add to the comments below:

I'm a dinosaur too, 'cause I remember the "do blondes have more fun"! Em likes it blonde . . . she adores Tinkerbell and now, she looks just like her! Oh those 15-year-olds.

The internet is such a fun way to keep track of relatives and friends and perhaps bridge the generation gap a bit.
