The Last of the Crabapples

Early spring is so fleeting. The tree blossoms are gone now, the lilacs fading fast behind them. I'm glad we've had some sunny warm days to appreciate the beauty. Here is the last crabapple shot.

That is the name of that tree, I think I might try to plant one.

Are you saying though, that the crabapples and lillacs only bloom now and no more for the year???

(I do house plants, not much in the flowers)

Fruit blossoms are always the best part of spring, I think. Shame they don't last long.

yep, Diane . . . they are brilliantly showy for a short period, and then gone. *sigh*

It is sad that it's so short . . . but with the regular fruit trees at least we get some benefits! *grin8
