What to DO you call those holes that open in the road in the spring of the year?

are you talking about pot holes?

potholes? I don't think they're just confined to spring though.

ali: you're too nice! I say something way naughtier.

Susan: That's one name for them!

Julie: Do you call them pot holes too? Well, they open up in spring around here.

Julie said...

What do YOU call them? Around here they tend to open up any time it's wet.

chuck holes is the country word.

and Shirl calls them what???!

:D

I know what you mean....

Chuck holes? Never heard that one before. Chuck holes - sounds like somewhere to vomit.

I suspect the well-developed ones may be called Charles holes.

MSU is looking mighty fine tonight! Duke is struggling, as usual this year.

Shirl said...

yep, Chuck, because they throw you out of the wagon. And Charles is absolutely fitting for some of the grander ones!

Oh Susan. I just saw Duke go down. I was so surprised. And I think that messed my bracket up even more!!! Argh! (Couldn't get into your comments. I really must get a faster internet connection!)

Personally, I call it $h:+ hole. When you accidentally trip into them, you yell "$h:+!". And when you are in urgent need to relieve yourself...Well, I'm sure you got the idea...

*innocently* what? I have been through army. having a natural hole prepared for you is better than frantically digging for one before whatever that is suppose to comes out, well, comes out...

such is the nature of man, and i do not deny it :D

haha, let's drop the subject before it escalates to something that is too embarassing for all of us, shall we? :D

Duke has been terrible all year. (22 - 10) It's almost been hard to root for them when all the ones I rooted for left last season. And don't get me started on Greg Paulus who turns the ball over every other time he handles it. It's almost like Coach K lost some evil bet. You KNOW I'm rooting for MSU tonight (8P-est), especially since they're playing Duke's arch nemesis, NC. Wouldn't that be cool if MSU beat ol' baby blue? Haaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaahaaaa

I'm done.

tien, you bad boy **grin**

And Susan, thank you for rooting for us! We just didn't have the depth this year, but I think we tired NC out. I hope!

Now I have to root for Roscoe's Texas team!
