Snopes says no
Daddy Long Legs abound out here in the country. The swimmer girls said: Oh, the daddy-long-legs are the most poisonous spider in the world, but its mouth is too small and it can't bite humans. So of course I had to check it out in Snopes.

I used to think that too but it's a myth.
yep. This is good. I've always kind of liked daddy long legs.
did i mention that, now that the cicadas are gone for another year, and dismissing ants as being too tiny and fast to bother with, the most common bug beast here seems to be the black widow spider?
hmm. just took a quick peek. there are at least 3 widow webs under my desk that weren't there when i started using it.
