Haha, I got northeastern - NY, CT, RI areas. Unfortunately for the quizmakers I speak 'straylyan.
Mid Atlantic
Also known as a "Philadelphia accent" but also heard in south Jersey, Baltimore, and thereabouts.
And that's where I live.
I've been practising and it's not 'straylyan, it's 'strayan. Cos I live in Straya. That's the official pronunciation. :)
hehehe. See, julie, you did score right! You'd fit right in in Bahstahn.
That is uncanny, cassie!
Bost'n, with a very short o, as in lost.
but how do you say lost????
We say lawst.
Bet you say lahst.
If I came last I'd say lahst. Lost is the same o as in cost, frost, etc. I suppose it's the English o.
hmmm. I'm lawst. *grin*
It just doesn't work on paper, does it? (well, virtual paper)
