Not a lot to report in my world. Monday folks from work are coming out for a Shuffleboard Tournament here at the farm. We're going to explore our inner geezer!
Ah ha! Now I know. Kids at school play a similar thing with a coin on the desk. They take turns to get the coin as close to the opposing edge as possible in a max of two or three pushes/flicks with a finger.
sort of, roo! Only this is outdoors. You use a cue to push a block from one end of the court to the other. The court has triangles at either end that are divided into sections. Where your block lands is your score. 10, 8, 7, or the dreaded "kitchen" which is -10.

I can't wait to use that line with my folks when they get back. They have been traveling more than my mother would like to at this time. :)
have a good time. ;)
Neat...sounds like fun...and amusement. I hope that you put coverage of this event up on your blog. :-)
I'm going to have to look shuffleboard up 'cos I don't know what it is!
Sounds fun, whatever may come. :)
Yeppers, me too. been keeping quiet and talking to myself lately...anyway, happy weekend ahead!
It's a game that's played a lot by retirees. Grandpa loved to play it, so I have a shuffleboard court in my backyard.
I'll see what I can do with pictures!
