oh i'm so glad the kids ran with it!!! And I'm glad you have AC. My car said 95 when I went into town. I don't have AC out here, but I have huge maples and a pretty constant west wind that keeps things fairly decent.
Man. More rain? This is getting to be a habit, Julie! and there is plenty of time for you to make yours. I made one today, but I've found locations for 3 others. They're harder than I thought!

I love the patio on pg. 17 and the jail was funny too.
I might have to join you Shirl in doing one in my garden as well, this is really creative. :)
I saw them in a kids' magazine on Tuesday, have been researching them ever since.
I bet yours will be so creative, Diane!
Whereas mine would be a jumble of sticks.... a home for earthquake fairies.
no no no no . . . julie, I want to see yours!! and I bet it will have a nice calligraphed sign above it!!! We wanna see an Oz fairy house!
Hehe, I've got the day off tomorrow - if it's not raining I might have a go.

so we all agree to take pictures??
Absolutely! I only have the floor poured on mine . . . have to finish gathering materials. Pictures tonight!
mine will be up by the end of Monday ;)
I want to see yours and Julie's! (lol)
Shirl, I shared this with the kids and I think you created little fairy monsters - they took off with it.
Up earlier than I thought only because I am trying to keep cool by...
staying. in. the. AC. House.
Hope your keeping cool today, I think this is turning out to be the hottest day so far...
but...
thank you for the cool idea!!!!
they luv'ed it!
Bugger. I forgot all about it. And it rained most of the day anyway.

You are so lucky to have the place you have. I found myself wishing I had a few trees here and there.
I really like yours, It is so hidden, as it should be. ;)
For some reason I just read Julie's comment about "earthquake fairies" and I can't stop laughing!!!
I agree with Shirl - we want to see an Oz Fairy house!!
I do feel blessed, Diane. That's a hundred-year-old lilac . . . it should have something???
