More Mine Tragedy

Oh dear. Three of the mine rescuers have been killed in an accident. This is so sad.

That is sad. I have been off and on following the story without watching the news.
I wonder if this may have to be the final resting place for those there. :(

I think you may be right Diane. Mines are such dangerous places.

Just heard on my local news that the search has been called off. I guess there's not much hope after 11 days.

you know, my parents have been harassing me to read the papers everyday, but it is exactly these kind of tragedies that subconsciously stop me from reading the papers. life is sad without reading these news.

someday, just someday, i actually wish to open the papers or watch the news where they report nothing but happy things. naive, i guess, but one could always hope...

0It sounds as if that mountain is totally unstable. How awful for the families.

I have read, Tien, that if one is prone to depression especially, that one should limit news reading to a weekly news magazine. That way, you stay somewhat current without getting the daily dose of sadness.

And of course, bad news sells. *sigh*
