The Great Wall Garden - View 1
This spring my friend Carol and her husband helped me build a retaining wall next to the barn bridge wall so that I could have a garden there. (Oh, all right. My friends Carol and her husband built the wall, and I toted bricks.) I've been tending it all summer, as we've had no rain. Each night, I load up the wheelbarrow with three buckets, then tote the whole business out to the wall. Some things are doing well, others aren't. But it really is cool, this gardening business. And it is something to chat about with the neighbors that pass by on an evening walk.

Your dedication shows. ;)

looks gorgeous :)
thanks, Diane and Julie!!
I'm not sure what I did mean, Diane!!! I tend to babble. sorry about that! Do you IM?
Not really...
I do have intense conversations some times through e-mails though. The IM community has never really appealed to me. I am more the over the phone type of girl..lol ;)
Do you?
im can be good. skype can be good, i think, if you can find someone to play. babble, sounds like a name for someone's next blog type thingi.
rain today 0.03". total for last 2 weeks about 0.035". total since feb, about 0.35", maybe a bit less. prolly done for awhile. wordy, ain't he?
I used to IM more, but now I'm more blogging/commenting type of person. It's easier to find the person that way, sometimes.
kimmi!!! yay you! That dryness HAS to be a relief for you. Good to see you!
What a pretty garden. I guess it's probably worth toting water every day.
